There's no denying that education in this country is in a horrific crisis. Our test scores are the lowest in history. Our dropout rate is rising at a terrifying rate. Programs are being cancelled and teachers let go due to lack of money, leaving our classrooms overcrowded and under funded. We are providing our students with a future in which they won't be able to compete with the young minds of children from other countries.
Dream With Me is a story about a group of people who are passionate about changing the face of education. This is a story of men, women, and children devoted to averting this crisis which will cripple our country if left unchecked. This is a battle that not only they, but our entire country, cannot afford to lose.
Dream With Me will follow for one year -- through laughter and tears, through triumph and failure -- this unbelievable journey of those few dedicated individuals who will stop at nothing to give our children the best education they deserve. Your support will help allow us to share this journey with the world.
